This painting comes from memories of growing up on family land, my grandparent's cattle ranch. Apparently, I have never grown tired of watching mamas and their babies in the fields. I live near cows now in fact, and could stare at them for hours. When a mama cow and her little one get separated, it's the sweetest thing to watch, how they find one another again. She won't stop until the calf is safe by her side. That's the way God is with us. It's what I believe about you too.
