Don't you just want to cuddle this guy? I do! I used to think of donkeys as loud and maybe a little obnoxious - until I started painting them. Then I fell in love and now I want one! They are each so charming, not to mention they also do great work on a farm. All that braying, stomping and kicking they can do keeps predators at bay from vulnerable, less battle prone livestock. Once I stayed in a barn for a couple of weeks - long story! - and at night I heard the donkeys and the farm dogs run off coyotes from the horses and pigs night after night. They also kept me safe when I came home after work in the pitch darkness. I imagine this is why I began painting them in the first place. For me, so much comes back to knowing just how protected we all are, even when unaware. Protected even from ourselves and our own stubborn ways. God's got you my friend. You might need a donkey like this cutie to  live with you in your home and remind you always. : )
